Normally he is a peaceful fellow, but if his peace is disturbed and the crank is turned - he will jump up, lift his paws, beat his wings and snap with his respectable jaw - until he sits down peacefully as if nothing has happened.

The handle moves a crank slider that gets the dragon jump up. Jaw, forelegs and wings are moved by strings which tighten when the dragon jumps.
