And so to the printing... The plates, one in each of the four blocks in the printing press left, are fitted into place with incredible accuaracy then the model sheets are printed, you can just see the pile of card at the right hand side of the printer. One pass prints one side then a second pass is used to print the reverse side.

Seen here are the piles of cards from the inside of the Flying Pig model which was printed at the same side as Ewe Boat.

On a seperate two colour press the covers for the models are printed onto high quality art board. Because only two colours are printed at a time the sheets have to go through the press twice for each side.
