Lilienthals's Descendant

Walter Ruffler

Once Otto Lilienthal jumped down a hill near Berlin with his flying machine and meanwhile he studied the principles of the flight of birds and of the aerodynamics. Our flying machine is driven by a powerful engine. During the landing the legs of the pilot are used as a landing-gear. The model is hung up by a string, wings, propeller, rudder and arms and legs of the pilot are movable.
