The Great Wave off Kanagawa, perhaps the most famous of all Japanese paintings.

This model is a 3D diorama of that painting. Cut out the pieces for the pack and create your own great wave!

Hokusai (1760~1849) is one of the most renowned Ukiyo-e painters of the Edo period in Japan. The world famous “The Great Wave” is a piece of artwork from his “36 Scenes of Mount Fuji” series. Hokusai himself did “Tatebanko paper sculpture”in those days and we are celebrating this well-known masterpiece with our own interpretation. A Hokusai Tatebanko remix!
