Dog

Tamiya

The first item in the series is a four-legged mechanical dog with variable speed control. The dog walks by transferring motor revolutions into reciprocating motion via a crank and linkage rod. The main body and legs are made from transparent yellow parts to allow viewing of the internal mechanism. Construction is simple as parts can easily be attached with screws. Wiring has also been made simple.

The kit lets you become familiar with the mechanics of the dog's movement. All the parts needed to construct the mechanisms are provided. Assembly and wiring have been made simple.

Four types of strides can be selected by changing the position of the holes on the crank. Put this together with two types of gear ratios and you've got an eight speed puppy!

Gripping parts at the end of each leg change position according to speed for smooth movement.

Clear switch with yellow transparent parts add a cool, futuristic, look.
